UOTR UPDATE & FLOOD RELIEF INFO

"Up on the Ridge," Dierks Bentley's first single from the upcoming album of the same name, jumped 10 spots to #41 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart this week! It continues to be among the most-added songs at country radio, as well. It debuted on Mediabase at #47, is up to #31 on Billboard's Country Indicator chart (which, you'll remember, is the chart for the smaller markets), and is at #37 on Mediabase's Activator chart (also for the smaller markets). I don't expect the jump to be as big next week, however it should definitely move solidly into the Top 40. Great news! As Dierks said in Greenville, this song is "starting to get its legs!" Keep up the great work, Congress!

I want to shift gears, however, and call attention to the catastrophic and deadly flooding in and around Nashville. I am sure, if you're anything like me, you're wondering what you can do to help. Of course, Nashville is very near and dear to not only our hearts, but our Prez's heart as well. So let's prove how we really are the "best fan club in the world" and do what we can to help.

  2. I sure hope at the Fan Club party and such we can also do something. Maybe purchase a CD version of the concert that would go to benefit the people impacted.
