In its 21st chart week, Dierks Bentley's "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" moves up another spot to #4 this week! Capitol Nashville and Country Radio appear to be giving it a rather healthy push again, as well, because it's spin increase numbers are among the top in the genre, and they haven't been that high since October! Yesterday, in fact, it had higher increased spins than Carrie Underwood's brand-new single, "Temporary Home." As long as the increased plays continue, it's audience impressions will continue to grow as well. There are roughly 6 million impressions separating IWMYCYE and #3 "Do I," so it's difficult to say if there will be much chart movement next week. However, I believe IWMYCYE will move to #2 in two weeks ... SO CLOSE!

ReplyDeleteWow - "...Close Your Eyes" has been on the charts for 21 weeks? Doesn't seem like that long, & I'm certainly not tired of hearing it!
