LONG TRIP ALONE UP FOR VOTE: CMTs TOP 50 VIDEOS OF THE DECADE!

Who could forget this powerful video in 2007! When this video was on the CMT Top 20 countdown week after week but not at #1 yet, this is when DB Congress was formed! This is when I realized it was gonna take an act of congress to get the video to the top spot! That's when fan-clubbers rallied together to push the video not only to first place, but for three consecutive weeks in a row in March/April of '07.

I had my very first fan club Meet and Greet that week, and presented Dierks with a plaque to commemorate the occasion!

Who could forget the shocking scenes of Dierks in a Mexican jail, having his curls shaved off, working to get back to an empty home to find 31 messages on his voice mail--from himself! "Hey babe, it's me...ya there?" So sad and moving! Watch the video on You Tube here.

Now, CMT has nominated Long Trip Alone for us to vote in the Top 50 videos of the decade! For this campaign, we need each and every DB Congress rep now more than ever! Vote as often as you can--no restrictions!

Let's do it for Dierks! Let's show him we can catapult him to the top!
