Do you have trouble getting your local radio station to play a Dierks Bentley song? Have you tried calling and the phone rings and rings? What about email? Twitter, Text, Facebook? Are you getting the response you want? Well try what "Dearpie" did in Arizona! She sent this email to her DJ, trying to get his attention. Check out his reply!

Dearpie replied to him: "It never hurts to ask! And the uncanny event of the day: As soon as I hit send, you played Sideways. At least we're on the same Dierks wavelength! ;) Have a great weekend!"
Funny how the smallest gesture can mean so much to us Dierks fans!

I have not really had a problem getting Dierks played on the radio but i used to. Linda Lee (linda@wycd.com) and Chuck edwards (cedwards@wycd.com) from 99.5 wycd Detroits best country are the only dj's i email to request Dierks. Sometimes i call but it is hard to get through.
ReplyDeleteI emailed www.country997.com (Charlottesville, VA) this week and requested Dierks. I did the whole "Listening all the way over here in England" bit and nothing, nada, zero. Bah! So I started listening to www.k95country.com (Richmond,VA) instead. They play Dierks all the time and no need to ask! Hehe! Great story, thanks. :)
