BUD AND DIERKS FINALLY MEET!

Get your tissues ready! This is THE most incredibly touching Dierks Bentley Meet and Greet story you will ever read. For those of you who have been following the MOM-MOS blog and DB related stories about her 10-year-old autistic son Bud's response to Dierks from afar, you'll appreciate this.

I can barely type this through tears, still blurring my eyes...tears are runnin', yeah that's kind of the way I'm feelin'...

The part that really got me all choked up was when Bud was invited to eat with Dierks and the guys at catering and Bud wasn't quite sure about the food. So mom ran to the car to get Bud's peanut butter sandwich and Dierks offered for just the two of them and mom to eat on the bus together. Priceless!

Thank you MOM-NOS for emailing me with this "knock your socks off" story!

  3. I just ... first Sgt. Munley, and now Bud, in the same week!?!? Reminded almost daily of why I'm a fan. He is such a good person. I can't wait for more people to know what we know. <3

  5. Amazing, just amazing! Dierks is a special guy, willing to take so much time with a child. God Bless him,,, and Bud and his mom- and Cassidy too, because it sounds like she also had a lot to do with helping Bud's day to be a success. What a great story!

  6. My husband had to ask what I was reading since I was crying and making comments outloud like "Oh, that is so sweet", e.g. Having read about Bud through the years, it is so wonderful to know that he and Dierks met! What a day they had together! Thank you, Bud's mom, for sharing the experience with us!!!!

  7. That was such a heart filled story. Thanks for posting it Ronna. Knowing Dierks the way we fans do, the story just tells what we all know. I have a cousin who is autistic so I know exactly the way Bud's mother felt. Its so wonderful to know that Dierks' music and just spending some time with him can do for a sole. Granny Ann

  8. Incredibly awesome! I am so glad that Bud and Dierks finally met. Bud's mother sounds like she is an awesome person. It is so wonderful of her to share Bud's stories with us strangers. Autism is so hard to understand and more and more children are being diagnosed with it. I truly hope and pray God continues to bless this family, and Dierks family too!
