The Buffalo Country Music Examiner had some great things to say about Dierks at the Darein Lake show...
"Paisley also knows how to produce a lineup as Jimmy Wayne and Dierks Bentley proved the perfect opening acts. Bentley stole the show with his high-energy and good looks. He joked with the audience on numerous occasions by changing lyrics in his songs to reference the idea that we only wanted Brad, and interacted with the audience constantly. His job of warming us up for the next act to follow was executed perfectly."
The Buffalo News thought "Dierks Bentley fared nearly as well as Paisley with the Darien crowd, as he tore a chunk out of his 45-minute opening slot with a meat-eater’s vigor. Bentley is more rocker than country boy, and his songs tend to favor introductions based on “big rock” power chords, which evolve into twangy barn-burners."
I was at the Darien Lake show and Dierks was awesome! The crowd went wild when he started the show with Sideways and they were singing along with all his songs. It was so much fun!! The crowd loved him! I can't wait to see him again!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very fun show, indeed. Of course our favorite part was being stopped while walking through the parking lot by a certain guy in a backwards baseball cap driving a green Jeep.....Too bad the picture is on HIS camera!
